MinneMama Adventures launched in 2014 focusing mainly on local hot spots for kids and families to enjoy without stress by providing tips and tricks for individual places. Over the years, it has also evolved to include our travel adventures and outdoor expeditions in more unique and expansive locations. Since its inception, we’ve enjoyed building our social media following, writing until our fingers hurt, photographing the beauty around us, and watching our kiddos grow up right alongside our brand.

Nicki and Nate Brunner are a married duo of Minnesotan adventure-seekers, dream-chasers and child-wranglers. As parents of three cool and energetic kids, their goal with MinneMama Adventures is to discover and share the joys and challenges of daily outings, spontaneous getaways, and well-planned vacations as a family in a humorous, honest, and authentic way.

Our mantra is simple: If you like to adventure, continue to adventure. Bringing your kids along can and should make the overall experiences more positive, more memorable – more complicated, yes, but also – more magical. This blog’s intent is to help you find that comfort zone and to enable you to happily soak in these glory days that are rumored to be so short-lived.

All the adventures I’ve covered so far – like Minnesota’s Largest Candy Store, Chutes and Ladders Park, even the Top Donut Shops in the Twin Cities – can be found in our nice, visual Adventure Directory.  Or if you’re more of a map person, each one has its own spot on our Adventure Map.

I also want your contributions. This should be a collaborative and realistic effort that will actually benefit our readers, so if you have an adventure recommendation, please submit it here.

This is such a great idea! I’m a retired kindergarten teacher and saw this posted by my son teaching in NEW YORK on facebook. I don’t live in Minnesota either (live in Wisconsin) but I love your idea!

You must be Colin’s mom! Just being that should make you very proud 🙂 Thank you for reading and for the compliment. Much appreciated.
