DIY Donut Crawl in the Twin Cities

CHOOSE YOUR METRO AREA:
West | East | South | North | Central

If you don’t looooove donuts with every ounce of your being, A) I don’t know if we can be friends, and B) I’m not sure you’ll want to read on. Because a Donut Crawl is exactly what it sounds like (minus the literal crawling). You crawl, er, drive to a variety of donut shops in a select area and you…well, you eat them. I guess it’s not that complicated a process now, is it? So put your stretchy pants on, brace yourself for a serious sugar crash, and run into your donut crawl of choice headfirst. I mean, why not? You only live once.

Below you will see route maps and rating sheets for each segmented-by-area donut crawl. Kids find this to be super enjoyable (but I DO recommend you split the donuts into fourths or whatever works for your family because otherwise, that’s just like, a “hole” lot of donut consumption). Have fun, let me know what your faves are, and may you have a great and glorious sugary frosting kind of day!

I learned they have vegan dougnuts on Thursdays. Since I try to find non-dairy treats, I was there when they opened this morning. I expected to only find a couple of choices, but they had over ten!- I tried a cinnamon roll, a kids-style one with cereal on top and a glazed with coconut (which was my favorite. All were fresh and light. I prefer Breadsmith’s (near ridgedale) cinnamon rolls, but going to a fun donut shop with a lot of choices is a welcome option now.
