LAKE REBECCA BIG WOODS
Rockford, MN
What to expect?
- Take a left when you enter the main Lake Rebecca entry to get to play area
- Indoor bathrooms are right next to the playground
- Wood chip and rubber footing
- Steep hills and lots of steps
- Animal scavenger hunt, lookout tower and a wide variety of slide sizes
- Nearby paved trails for biking or walking
- Nearby sandy beach
- A parking lot right next to it
- Water fountains, plenty of benches, garbage and recycling cans, grills and more picnic tables than you can shake a stick at
- Sand volleyball court next to playground
- TIP: If you want to continue the fun after the park, head over to Peppermint Twist Drive-In for some yummy burgers and ice cream. It’s kitschy, has plenty for the kids to do, and the food is OHSOGOOD! Plus, it’s only 5 minutes from the park.
What to bring?
- Snacks/a lunch to picnic
- Sunscreen/sun hats if you head to the beach
- Sand toys to play at the volleyball court
- Bikes if you want to utilize the trails
