Can you handle the truth? OK. Here’s the truth: I don’t make enough money to fully stock my closet with all the boutique store goods that will someday line the streets of my heaven. I have bits and pieces I’ve been gifted that I love love love and I pair them with thrift store scarves and Walmart leggings. There. That’s the truth. When I hear the word “boutique,” my face lights up because I know I’m going to fall in luuuurve with their clothing, but walk out empty-handed because my bank account can barely afford one solitary earring.
That is until I recently discovered Rose Gold Vintage, an online boutique shopping experience with all the cute, trendy stuff without the painful sticker shock (and bonus: FREE shipping for all orders to anywhere within the US – BOOM!). Dress yourself, dress your baby, gift shop for your favorite little one, shop the sale rack – whatever the motive, the result is the same: Unique and quality products at a fraction of the cost of other boutique shops. Oh, and a happier you. Now that’s the truth!
Another happy truth? We are hosting a fun giveaway, so be sure to enter to win your very own “The Snuggle is Real” onesie for your favorite babe.
Rose Gold Vintage was started by Erin, an MBA-holding local mom of two who adores shopping, designing and getting a good deal. She sent me some absolutely wonderful products to test out to help in writing this review, and you guys, I tested them out like, every day for two weeks straight.
My new plaid infinity scarf came out with me on girls night, to a retreat weekend, to work, to McDonald’s, on a date night, and heck, I even wore it around the house with my pajamas when our heat wasn’t up to mommy standards. Its versatility and warmth were my favorite features and I appreciated that it was priced at $16.
The same could be said for my pom pom hat. It’s warm and comes in a bazillion colors, and apparently it’s all the rage in Europe (or so someone told me). I’m always game for being on fleek with the Europeans. I wore it everywhere and got tons of compliments, and for $18? Done and done.
Lady friends, I’m tellin’ ya, you NEED to check out this online shop even if just to click on the Sale button. Products swap out seasonally, go on sale frequently and ship very rapidly (and for free). Here are a few of my Spring favorites that are currently available (as of April 2016):
SHOP THE LADIES SPRING COLLECTION
Now, maybe you’re not really big on shopping for yourself or you’re like me and you just grew a baby for nine months so your body isn’t quite, um, “boutique-ready” yet. Fear not – the baby section is EVEN CUTER! I got giddy when I opened the products for my little Rhett-man.
First thing I opened was this ridiculously adorable Bibdana. Are. You. Kidding. Me?! I know he doesn’t look too thrilled to be modeling it, but really, do we dress babies for them or for us? These handmade bibs are made by K&M Designs and are sold on the boutique site for $10. It’s soft and stylish and 100% washable. Talk about giving the most talked about gift at the baby shower, right? I can hear the “oooos” and “ahhhhs” now.
I want to buy everything in this spring collection too (especially that coffee onesie, because duh!). The boutique carries sizes from baby through toddler and then a few shirts for bigger kids. It’s a little harder to justify spending $20 on a shirt for a messy toddler, but some of them are almost too irresistible to pass up.
SHOP THE KIDS SPRING COLLECTION
But the best part of opening my package from Rose Gold Vintage was the “Snuggle is Real” long-sleeve black and white onesie. It’s soft, preshrunk, tagless and the saying is hilarious and so very true. We got more comments on this article of clothing than anything else (in his wardrobe). And YOU CAN WIN ONE FOR FREE BY ENTERING THE GIVEAWAY BELOW!
Disclaimer: I received complimentary products from Rose Gold Vintage in exchange for my time sharing this post and hosting this giveaway. All thoughts are my own.

04/21/2016 at 10:37 amI absolutely love and will never give up my pearl necklace! It was a Christmas gift from my husband about five years ago. He bought the pearls in Chinatown in SF and strung them himself! Sentimental reasons aside, I love it because it is timeless and makes me feel classy and fancy!
